Nothing like Sunday afternoon in a house with the doors open so the breeze can blow through and a table full of fried chicken, mashed potatoes, blackeyed peas, cornbread and if you are lucky Nanny made chocolate pie or nanner puddin. mmmm mmmmm simple food but you could taste the love in it. Jeanie's Loaded Baked Potato Salad

Ingredients
8 to 10 red potatoes, skin on and sliced
2 teaspoons salt
10 slices bacon, fried, diced & crispy
4 green onions sliced
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
16 ounces sour cream
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup Dukes Mayo
1 Package of Nature Valley Ranch Dressing Mix(Hidden Valley will do but my folks like NV best)
Directions
1Slice and boil potatoes with salt.
2Drain well
3Crumble bacon and slice onions (including tops).
4Combine sour cream, pepper dukes and dressing mix.
5Add to potatoes.
6Add bacon, onions and cheese (reserve some of each for top).
7Mix with potatoes.
8Top with reserved cheese, onions, and bacon.

This is really good with grilled chicken........or chicken fried! :)

1 CUP SUGAR/ 1CUP FLOUR/ 1CUP MILK/ 1CUP PEACH JUICE/ 1/3 CUP SHORTNING/ CINNAMIN / AND ALL THE PEACHES YA WANT !!! BLEND ALL AND BAKE !!!
OLDEST RECIPE IN GA NEXT TO FRIED YARD BIRD !!!!!!

Polish Kelbasa Soup

1 large can of crushed tomatoes
3 quarts water
1 med. cabbage cut up
3/4 cup barley
1 polish kelbasa skinned and sliced

simmer crushed tomatoes and water for 30 mins
add kelbasa and simmer for 30 more mins
add barley and simmer 30 more mins
add cabbage and simmer 30 more mins!

Enjoy! This is awesome with cornbread!
